I just love her writing style. The shorter sentences just keep the story rolling along in a way that makes me unable to put it down!

I've only ever read the Wake trilogy. But I love her books because they depict real life situations that people can relate to.

Lisa McMann's writing made me want to read. I even wrote a paper about how her books inspired me to read more for my college English Comprehension class. If I could personally thank her for what she has done for me, I would love to do that. Her Wake series really opened my eyes to the wonderful world of literature and what is out there for minds like my own to discover and read. Her books are like watching a movie in my head, and that is probably the one thing that I love the most about her books. I simply CANNOT wait for this book to be released so I can go buy it 🙂 And, to top it off, I have to travel to the nearest bookstore about 45 minutes away from me because all the darn bookstores near me are closed 🙁

I once drove all the way from Chicago to Minneapolis to attend one of Lisa's signings. Totally worth it! Her writing is fabulous.

I first discovered Lisa McMann through her Wake trilogy, and ever since then, I've read every single one of her books. The worlds and characters she creates are so imaginative that I get completely sucked into the stories. I really admire her writing skills and storytelling ability. Her books are always such great reads; I can't wait to get my hands on Dead to You!
