I can’t wait to get a copy of “This is a School” for my classroom!! My favorite picture book that takes place in a school is “All Are Welcome”! It has such a great message, as well as beautiful illustrations and inclusive characters! I love reading it to my class just as much as they love listening to it!

The Day You Begin is an excellent story. I love the diverse characters. The illustrations are vibrant and colorful. The messages and themes are perfect to start a new school year. The story helps initiate conversations about inclusion and the feelings of a new school year.

I don’t have any favorite picture book that takes place in school, until I found out that my favorite book blogger, John Schu has this author debut with “This Is A School”. That’s gonna be my new favorite 🙂
