CRASH & BANG (Visions series) by Lisa McMann
[Released in January and quickly became a student favorite – couldn’t keep it on the shelf & had a waiting list for ARC of book 2 releasing in September]
THE FALSE PRINCE & THE RUNAWAY KING by Jennifer A. Nielsen
[Middle grades historical fantasy I (& students) loved]
Great list! Just in time for trip to the Library. Loved "Smile" and it was the first book a student brought to me and said "I think you'll like this" so it will always be a sentimental fave too.

So many of these are already on my To-Be-Read list…ahhh when will I find time to get to them all (I want to read all of them right now).
Pivot Point & When You Were Here were so great, and The False Prince series was a popular one in my classroom.
It's going to be hard to shrink lists down to a "best of" for the whole year because there are just too many great books to read!
I'm definitely looking forward to The Distance Between Us! I've heard nothing but great things about it! Great list!

I love your list! I'm taking Eleanor & Park as a vacation read when I head to the beach in August. Also I plan on reading Out of the Easy soon. It's been staring at me from off my tbr shelves long enough! I Hunt Killers was awesome, and I recently listened to the sequel (which was good too!).
Hope the rest of your reading year is as good!
Pivot Point was so flipping fantastic. I honestly think it was my favorite read of the year hands down. It was just so clever and entertaining.
