What’s New in KidLit: Inclusive Picture Books You Should Know (2023 WEMTA Preso)
I was honored to be asked to be a Spotlight Speaker at the WEMTA Conference (Wisconsin Educational Media & Technology Association) this year. One of my sessions today was booktalking / recommending 164 picture books in 60 minutes. I didn’t quite get to all of the slides (which is what I figured would happen!), but I did get to talk about a lot of great books & ones I’m looking forward to reading.
